Often when we work with athletes on movement, they just don’t know what they don’t know (not yet anyway…)!

Many climbers unknowingly form bad habits that prevent them from using their strength to its full potential.

Learning advanced movement tools will allow you to experience climbing as the art form that it is - which really is the key to enjoyment and success.

NEW SCHOOL!

  • Follow the link below to book your spot. Or, if you want to chat with Casey first before signing up to make sure it is right for you, send an email to casey@projectdirectcoaching.com to set up a 20-min Zoom call about your climbing before signing up.

  • Complete your personal assessment (delivered via TrueCoach) and submit 5 climbing videos so we can look at your metrics alongside your movement.

    We will guide you through the types of videos to upload and answer any questions you have on the assessment.

  • We will review your assessment and movement videos together and provide you feedback on a 60-min 1 on 1 video call. We will discuss your climbing goals and casey will highlight areas for improvement, skill drills, and teach you about movement concepts.

    After your initial meeting, you will receive skill drills to work on via TrueCoach.

  • You will set up 2 more meetings (monthly) to review your progress and advance the guidance as appropriate.

    After your third month, you are welcome to extend your program on a monthly basis.

  • The total cost for this 3-month program is $381. You have the option of paying in full or completing the deposit option (see below) with a payment plan.

  • Included in the movement coaching program are 3 monthly meetings focused on your climbing. However, if you want to receive a training plan with weekly check-ins, you may sign up for that and discuss the details on your first call. You can find more information on physical training in the programs tab on our website header.

In the age of training, we see a lot of athletes get really invested in their training metrics. This is great - as long as the movement skills are progressing too.

Climbing is still a skill based sport. we need to combine training with improved skills in order to see continuous improvement.

it is quite common that athletes come to us wanting to train more, but we ascertain that what they really need to work on is movement skills.

That - and the feedback from athletes we do skill work with - is the reason we put together movement coaching to stand on it’s own!
